Reach the City: Seniors - June 2026

For the last 4 years, every single month God has opened many doors for us to build relations, to love and serve our seniors community in South Etobicoke. Our goal is to be the Salt & Light as we  fellowship with through an afternoon of coffee & snacks at each of the 3 senior community housing apartment locations. 
Our prayer is that through this ministry, we can show Christ-like hospitality to the elderly & and bring hope. 

We have 3 different ways you can volunteer! You are most welcome to sign up for CALLING AND HOSPITALITY/EVENT. 

1. CALLING CREW:  2 weeks leading up to event:  you will call our seniors from our community list to check in on them, pray with them and remind them of our upcoming visit & meal drop off. You will have flexibility as to when you make the calls from your home during this period. (We are in need of people who speak different languages, so please indicate in your sign up if you speak a different language!)
   
   
2. HOSPITALITY CREW: On Saturday, June 13th from 10am - 2:00pm  Together with the event crew at the church office, we spend time in prayer and God's word to prepare our hearts for the ministry and learn about the program plan. You will then travel to your assigned building to set up the event room & help serve drinks, snacks & pack care packages. At the end of the event, you will be helping with tear down of items, clean up and packing of supplies. 
   
   
3. EVENT CREW: On Saturday, June 13th from 10:00am -2:00pm Together with the hospitality crew at the church office, we spend time in prayer and God's word to prepare our hearts for the ministry and learn about the program plan. You will then travel to your assigned building to engage with the seniors with an opportunity to have coffee together, get to know them, pray & share the Gospel with them. Towards the end of the event, some of you may be visiting some of the units in the building (in pairs) to deliver food to seniors who are home-bound. 

SIGN UP TODAY! Registrations close when full or by Sunday, June 19th. All further information you would need will be emailed to you during the week of the event. If you are registering for your family members please register all individual names.
